Think: mix and match socks, all-over patterns, cabinet of curiosities, everything but the kitchen sink, glass fruit displays, 500 piece puzzles, a fridge covered in magnets, rainbow sprinkles, fruit punch flavored popsicles

SASS continues its collaboration with Alessandra in serving savory bites and hyper-seasonal homemade ice cream, unique for each session of SASS. For the 7th edition, bites inspired by the Tutti Frutti theme are:

Mini salad cups
Masa cornbread muffins
Goat cheese and seasonal fruits
Parmesan & olive oil ice cream
Tomato water sorbet with mint & fennel

What to expect:

Each gathering includes:

✸ periodic prompts for new connections - on theme!

✸ a special exhibition viewing with leading emerging artists

✸ a lite array of savory and sweet bites by a chef/culinary artist

✸ complimentary low/non ABV drinks

✸ a medium-sized mingle by design

Typical Timeline:

6:30pm | Event starts

7:00pm -7:25pm | Mixer session

8:05 - 8:10pm | Exhibition intro with the gallery director

9pm | Event ends

Ticketing directly funds the culinary artist, beverage costs, event staffing, and other production costs. Any additional revenue then supports the organizer. Please pay *honestly* what you can in support of this W.A.G.E-hopeful model.

Salon And Supper Social (formally Supper Social) started in Summer 2025 as an antidote to the cycle of too crowded, too loud, and too late art world happenings. This one's first and foremost for all the advocates and facilitators who make the ecosystem go 'round - curators, gallerists, advisors, writers, producers, art handlers, fabricators, patrons, et all.

✸ S.A.S.S is a space to be yourself and still network.
✸ When just the right amount of people means you can have actually meaningful conversations.
✸ Where food & drinks is an energizer, not the main character.

You are the centerpiece. What do you want to bring to the table?

Dreamed up and organized by independent curator Lauren Hirshfield, S.A.S.S. is inspired by salons and series like A'Lelia Walker’s “The Dark Tower” and Dali’s “Les Dîners”. Lauren hopes this event brings the emerging art world together in a more integrative, intentional, and inspiring way.
